Finals Week Survival

Finals Week Survival And with that, my first semester finals have come and gone. A mixture of stress, procrastination, preparation, and nerves all worked together for a bunch of tests, papers, and projects. I am glad to say that I made it! Gif from Giphy.com Not that I actually thought I wouldnt. You see, finals week is, as expected, no easy feat. But the truth is that if you worked hard in high school and developed good study habits, then finals week in college is not as impossible as it seems. The content may be harder than high school finals were, but the great thing about finals is that youve already learned the material once, so studying is really just a big review. Now, thats not to say that if you pulled straight As in high school you dont have to study for finals in college. Studying weeks in advance is advised. But the silver lining is that if you pulled straight As, you are prepared for the hard work and hours of studying ahead. Finals are a challenging time for everyone regardless of major, minor, or smarts. Remember to eat full meals, exercise before sitting for a long study session, and get enough sleep. Cramming really never helped anyone. Rachel Class of 2020 I am studying Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Social Sciences and Literacy in the College of Education. Although I now reside in Champaign, I am originally from Vernon Hills, a Northwest suburb of Chicago.
